What the service provides

CalcSlope provides free browser-based one-slope and two-slope geometry calculators, unit conversion, explicit device pins, copying and printing in four languages.

No account, subscription, purchase or professional consultation is provided. The geometry explanations and limitations help you interpret the results responsibly.

Measurements and engineering limitations

Use rise and horizontal run from the same straight slope, or another supported independent pair. A two-slope calculation solves each side independently and does not assume equal pitches or halve the full span. An inclination alone cannot determine lengths.

Results describe geometry. Geometric rafter length excludes overhangs, cuts, connections and construction allowances. Display rounding and diagrams do not replace accurate measurements. No roof area, material quantity, structural sizing, load assessment, living-area calculation or building-code approval is provided.

Construction and roofing decisions need project-specific checks and appropriately qualified judgement. The existing geometry disclaimer remains available and is part of the service explanation.

Responsible use and third-party tools

Check units, inputs and results before relying on them. Keep local pins and copied or printed output secure on shared devices. Do not use the site to submit personal information, interfere with its availability or represent results as engineering certification.

Browser storage, clipboard and printing depend on your browser and device. Third-party links have their own terms and privacy practices. The operator has not promised uninterrupted access, permanent storage, compatibility with every browser or a particular financial or construction outcome.

Mandatory rights and service responsibility

Mandatory consumer and other legal rights remain subject to applicable law. Calculator results do not certify construction safety or suitability for a particular project.

Report suspected calculation or content errors to the official email. Independently verify important measurements and obtain qualified advice for construction decisions.

Material changes to optional collection will be explained before activation. New consent will be requested where required by applicable law.
